LG Fridge Repair

My First Design for 3D printing. So we have an LG fridge and the bracket on the door shelf broke off.

So I thought that a 3D Printed part was better then 800.00 new door. Since i knew Sketch-up well so i thought i would design a replacement part. I sent the designed part over to a friend that had a 3D printer and had my part the next day. That got me hooked and now i cant stop thinking of things i can design for 3D Printing.

Corner Cupboard Lazy Susan Repair

So my second official 3D printing project is to repair the 1977 Corner Cupboard Lazy Susan. Since we have moved in the house i think i have sent one or two of our children to retrieve items that have fallen off and jammed the Lazy Susan.

Since my children are almost to big to crawl in any more I need a more permanent solution. So i opened up Fusion 360 and went to work. I designed the bracket that attaches to each shelf that a 11 gauge wire can go through to make a fence.

Wireless Charging in the car?

So My next project was a request for a friend. He wanted to be able to charge his iPhone XS Max in the car wireless. He had an Scosche Magic Mount and a free Qi Charger that he wanted to use. So back to Fusion360.

I broke out the calipers and did some measurements and ruff sketches. I designed the bottom hole to friction fit the Magic Mount and the top hole i had to taper to fit the charger. i also printed a back part to hold the charger in place. it turned out great and he is loving it.
